Piano Tuning
A standard piano tuning is ideal for regularly maintained pianos that are close to pitch and need routine service. During a tuning, the tension of each string is adjusted so the piano sounds clearer, more balanced, and more enjoyable to play.
Regular piano tuning helps maintain the instrument’s stability and musical quality, especially in the Lower Mainland where humidity and seasonal changes can affect the piano over time.
Best for: regularly maintained pianos, family pianos, teaching studios, student pianos, and instruments tuned within the last year.
Recommended: every 6–12 months for most home pianos.

Tuning and Cleaning Package
Interior Piano Cleaning
Over time, dust, pet hair, small objects, and debris can collect inside a piano. Interior piano cleaning helps remove buildup from the inside of the instrument and keeps the piano looking and feeling better cared for.
This is a useful service for older pianos, inherited pianos, recently purchased used pianos, or instruments that have been sitting unused for a long time.
Best for: dusty pianos, used pianos, older upright pianos, and pianos in busy family homes.
Interior Cleaning - $130
The tuning and interior cleaning service is a great option for pianos that need both improved sound and a cleaner interior. This service includes a standard piano tuning plus interior cleaning to remove dust, debris, and buildup from inside the piano.
It is especially helpful for older family pianos, used pianos, homes with pets, or pianos that have not been cleaned in many years.
Best for: regularly maintained pianos that also need dust and debris removed from the interior.

Pitch Raise and Tuning
A pitch raise tuning is for pianos that are significantly below standard pitch or have not been tuned in several years. When a piano is extremely out of tune, it usually needs extra pitch correction in addition to a standard tuning.
This service helps bring the piano closer to standard pitch so the final tuning can be more accurate and stable.
Best for: very out-of-tune pianos, older pianos, recently moved pianos, or pianos that have gone several years without service.
Common signs: the piano sounds dull, flat, unstable, or noticeably different when playing with other instruments.

Regulation
Piano regulation improves the touch, response, and control of the piano action. If the keys feel uneven, heavy, sluggish, too light, or inconsistent from note to note, regulation can help the piano feel more comfortable and responsive.
Unlike tuning, which adjusts the sound, regulation focuses on how the piano feels when you play.
Best for: uneven key response, poor repetition, heavy touch, sluggish keys, or pianos used by developing and advanced players.

Used Piano Inspection
A used piano inspection helps you understand the condition of a piano before buying it. Caleb will check the piano’s overall condition, tuning stability, keys, pedals, strings, soundboard, and visible repair concerns so you can make a more informed decision before committing.
This service is especially helpful when buying a used upright or grand piano from a private seller.
Best for: used piano buyers, second-hand pianos, marketplace listings, inherited pianos, and families purchasing a first piano.
